Lisa Grotherus
Lisa Grotherus is a clarinetist, singer and composer based in Stockholm. Having started out in the jazz and impro scene, Lisa plays pop, folk and world music in several Swedish and European bands. As a composer, Lisa writes for her own bands as well as theatre, radio and film. Her debut album Dekontee (2018) was selected best Swedish jazz album of the year by the music magazine Lira. In 2019 she received the SKAP Jazz prize.
Lisa has extensive experience of working in the performing arts, both as a composer, musician and actor. Between 2017-2021 Lisa composed for ”Min berättelse på scen”, a series of performances played live at Dramaten in collaboration with the Swedish Radio. Parts of this music was selected, arranged and recorded. The EP ”Musiken från Min berättelse” released by PACAYA records is Lisas second album.
